John joined the SLU Anatomy faculty about 1953 as I was completing the MS(R) program and moving on to pursue a Ph.D. at Buffalo. We became friends and enjoyed getting together at anatomy meetings. He was always a kind, soft spoken, and truly professional gentleman. My deepest sympathy to his family.
